Choose the destination before comparing discounts
The official Yesim country pages reviewed on 11 October 2026 list data plans for Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco. That establishes catalogue availability, rather than a speed test in Algiers, Oran, Tunis or Marrakech. Plan prices, allowance and activation details can change with the selected package.
| Trip | A useful starting point | What to record |
|---|---|---|
| Algeria only | The official Algeria country catalogue | Exact package, validity trigger and eligible total |
| Seven days in Tunisia | The Tunisia catalogue and your data budget | Coverage for all travel days, allowance and hotspot conditions |
| Working in Morocco | The Morocco catalogue and your work requirements | Sharing support, likely data use and a separate fallback connection |
| All three countries | A package-by-package coverage comparison | Confirm every stop; an Africa label alone is insufficient |
For the three-country case, continue with the Africa and North Africa coverage guide. It distinguishes the Africa regional list from Global Plus and country-specific packages.
Algeria: record the eligible price before payment
Select the Algeria package first. Keep the destination, duration, allowance, currency and account unchanged while comparing the checkout before and after a code. Look for an actual discount line and the payable total; a copied code or successful affiliate-link click does not establish redemption.
Our central Yesim record contains the dated ZEALOT / 15% publisher confirmation. That is separate from Algeria-specific account eligibility, which has not been tested by this publication. A publisher test for another merchant in Algeria must not be transferred to this offer.
If the phone shows signal in Algiers but cannot browse, confirm the selected data line, enabled profile, package status, allowance and covered location. Use the purchased eSIM’s personalized help before changing APN values. A network signal alone does not establish a usable data session. The connection checklist explains the sequence.
Before a Tunisia flight: separate installation and activation
A seven-day trip needs a package that fits the entire itinerary, not necessarily a product labeled exactly seven days. Allow for arrival and departure days, your intended data use and any activation deadline. The data-budget worksheet uses your own usage history rather than a universal allowance.
Yesim’s general activation help lists several possible triggers. A country catalogue can describe a network-triggered package, but that is not a guarantee for every purchase option. Save the selected package’s description before installing the profile. Follow the installation guide with a reliable connection and your exact device instructions.
Laptop work in Oran, Tunisia or Morocco
Treat tethering as a purchase requirement. Yesim says it is available on most plans, while local operators can restrict availability. A country page, an unlimited-data label or a coupon is not a guarantee of unrestricted hotspot speed.
For a work session, record the destination, required applications, anticipated uploads and laptop data use. Ask about the exact package if sharing is essential, and prepare a hotel, coworking or other connection option you can actually use. We have not tested uptime, latency or video-call performance in these cities.
In Morocco, keeping a familiar WhatsApp identity is different from having normal carrier calls and SMS. A data-only travel eSIM supplies internet; your usual number and home SIM’s charges need their own checks. See the roaming comparison before leaving both lines enabled.
Keep a small travel record
Save the package name, country list, source URL and date, validity trigger, sharing conditions and the checkout currency and total. If something fails, add the exact error and the steps attempted. Redact personal and payment details when sharing the record with support. Readers using a French or Arabic interface can use our checkout reading guide.
