How to choose a Yesim plan for your trip

Start with your itinerary

Write down where you are going and how long you need connectivity, including travel days. Check each destination against the plan’s actual coverage instead of inferring it from a broad marketing label.

Yesim’s purchase guide describes selecting a destination, duration and data allowance. Some destinations offer unlimited options. It also describes travel plans as data-only, so do not assume a conventional voice number is included.

Build a comparison you can use

Use the same questions for each candidate plan:

We recommend estimating your needs by activity: navigation and messaging, video calls, media use and laptop sharing. These are planning categories, not measured consumption figures or a guarantee of speed.

For a concrete worksheet, estimate your travel data. Compare country and regional coverage if you cross borders, and eSIM versus roaming if you already have a home-carrier package.

Compare the final price last

An offer should reduce the cost of a plan that already fits your trip. Read the Yesim offer record and apply the code before comparing final totals.

The calculator on the offer page is a hypothetical percentage illustration. It uses your entered amount, not live plan prices. Confirm the merchant’s actual qualifying price and rounding before purchase.

Before setup, check when activation starts. If “unlimited” or laptop sharing influenced your choice, read the hotspot and unlimited-plan checklist.
