A dated coverage answer
On 11 October 2026, Promo Zealot opened View 11 countries on the official Yesim Balkans page. The list contained Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey. Kosovo was not listed. This observation is about the displayed package list; that observation did not test those networks.
| Itinerary stop | Observed Balkans list | Buying implication |
|---|---|---|
| Albania | Listed | Check the exact selected package and dates |
| Montenegro | Listed | Check the exact selected package and dates |
| Serbia | Listed | Check the exact selected package and dates |
| Kosovo | Not listed | Find an explicitly supported option for this stop |
The three listed stops make the Balkans package a candidate, not an automatic recommendation. Compare its allowance, validity, hotspot conditions and payable cost with country packages for the same itinerary.
Europe versus Balkans when Kosovo is on the route
Do not assume that a Europe title covers Kosovo or every Balkan destination. Create a separate Kosovo row and inspect each candidate’s actual coverage dialog. If neither candidate lists the stop, neither is established as suitable for the entire itinerary.
Also check whether an itinerary includes EU and non-EU destinations. Geographic labels and a home carrier’s roaming zone are not interchangeable with a travel eSIM’s package list. A plan that covers one neighboring country is not evidence that it covers the next.
Activation and crossing a border
Save the selected package’s validity trigger and activation deadline before installation. The displayed Balkans details describe a compatible-network trigger, but Yesim’s general help explains that activation logic can differ by product. Use the exact purchase description when those sources or options differ.
At the next stop, confirm that the existing package covers the new country, remains active and has allowance available. Keep the profile and data-line selection correct. A border crossing is not a reason to delete and reinstall an eSIM; use the official setup guidance if service fails.
Hotspot is a condition to verify
Yesim’s hotspot help describes availability on most plans and possible operator restrictions. Do not turn the regional coverage list into a guarantee of laptop connectivity or unrestricted speed throughout the trip. If work depends on sharing, confirm the selected plan and prepare another usable connection.
The hotspot guide separates sharing from unlimited-data assumptions. Once the itinerary and service requirements fit, use the dated offer record and compare the actual eligible discount before payment.
Sources & evidence notes
This guide adapts Promo Zealot’s original material. Its source-review date is October 11, 2026. Historical coverage-dialog observations belong to Promo Zealot; Yesim Guide has not repeated those dialogs or performed a network test.
